At Kheiron School of English, we take your privacy very seriously.

We will take all reasonable precautions to protect your personal data, and we will never share this data with other companies or organisations.

This statement will explain what kind of data we collect, and exactly how we use it. Hopefully this will make everything clear, but please feel free to ask us in person if you have any questions.

Types of data we collect

1) Contact information (e.g. name, email address, mobile number).

We use this information to update you with important information on your classes at Kheiron (e.g. timetable changes, payment reminders) or to contact you in case of emergency. We may occasionally contact you with updates on news and events related to the school (e.g. school activities, the Christmas Party) but we will only do this with your consent.

2) Emergency contact information (e.g. name, email and phone number of a friend or relative).

We are required to collect this information so that we can contact someone in case of emergency. We will only use this information in these cases.

3) Medical information (e.g. allergies, learning difficulties).

We collect this information to ensure that we make the school a safe and welcoming environment for our students, and (where appropriate) to help our teachers plan their classes to make them as useful end effective as possible.

4) Records of test and exam results

We ask students to take a placement test before starting with us to ensure that they are placed in the correct level. We also occasionally ask students to take additional tests when they request to change levels or join a new class. We keep this information for future reference and to improve our services.

If you used us to register to take a Cambridge exam, we will receive information on your result and exam performance. We use this information to monitor and improve our teaching.

Access to your personal information

You are entitled to view, amend or delete any or all of your personal data that we hold. To do so, simply email your request to our data protection officer Chris at
